Wisconsin, Arizona, and graduate of Indiana University-South Bend. A Titan like the wife of the Director of Athletics at Marquette.
South Bend, Indiana
Favorite sport? Why?
Ping Pong-because I'm still good at it.
Green Bay Packers and Marquette (tie)
Most memorable sports moment?
Marquette over Kentucky to get to the 2003 Final Four
Favorite thing about sports?
A team must win. Some team always win even if not my team. In life, lose/lose is possible. That stinks.
If you could change one thing/rule about any league, what would you change?
256 teams in the NCAA men’s basketball tourney. I call it the Homer 256.
If you could live the life of one pro athlete for a day, whose life would you choose?
Aaron Rodgers if what his girl friend says is true.
Years in broadcast?
First job? First job in the business?
Evening disc jockey at WIXK in New Richmond, Wi. My nickname was "Strange" or "Slightly Strange" I wanted to be "the Falcon" but it never stuck.
First, or best, childhood sports memory?
Trying to lose-bad foul, missed free throws- at the 8th grade city basketball title for St. Joseph Grade School in South Bend, Indiana in front of 3000 people and then winning the game with layup in sudden death. Luckiest athletic achievement in history of planet Earth.
Favorite non-sport related activity?
Sitting at the clubhouse at Erin HIlls Golf Course. The view has nothing to do with sports.
Favorite Milwaukee spot?
Marshall Chay's McDonald's in Tosa for 630 am coffee with my wife. Join us anytime.
Nickname? Origin of nickname?
I gave it to myself. I am a homer because I do root for the home team..BUT I will not lie for those teams. The first rule of homerism-I am a Homer, but I’m not an idiot.
